The Small Old Man with the Pointy Hat is a classic fairy tale rewritten. In this fairy tale the miller’s son goes to the castle with the Queen and needs to spin straw into gold. When he can’t a small old man comes into the room and offers to help for something in return. The first two times the son has something to offer but the third time he has nothing left. The small old man offers to spin the straw into gold if the boy promises his first born child. Will the small man come and take the boy’s child? Will the boy be able to stop him?

This is our final chapter of Peter Pan. In this chapter the boys have taken over the pirate ship and are taking Wendy and the boys back home. When they arrive Mrs. Darling can hardly believe her eyes. Mr. and Mrs. Darling are so happy to have Wendy, John, and Michael back. The lost boys have also come and they will live with Wendy and her family now. Peter says he doesn’t want to stay but will come back and visit Wendy. Time passes and Wendy grows up and has a daughter of her own. She tells her daughter all about Peter and then one night they hear the crow.

In part 3 of our series we we are going to use our imagination and create a magical bubble wand. This is a helpful visualization to help us breathe deeply.

Jack and the Beanstalk is a classic fairy tale about a young boy and his mother. Jack and his mother are poor and live on the money they make from the milk they sell. When their cow stops giving milk they decide to sell her. Jack heads to market with the cow and trades the cow for some magic beans. Jack’s mother is angry and sends Jack to his room and throws the beans out the window.

In this chapter we see how Peter snuck onto the pirate ship by ticking like the crocodile. Once he is on board he frightens the crew who send the boys into the dark room to see what is in there. Peter talks to the boys and frees Wendy and then it’s just Peter and Hook, who will win?

In part 2 of our series we focus on relaxing our bodies and using our imagination. We will create a picture in our mind of a place that we are completely at ease, helping you and your children feel calm and at peace, a great feeling for just before bed or anytime.

The Star Hockey Player and the Puck is our version of the Princess and the Pea. This star hockey player wants to marry another star hockey player but she is having trouble finding one who is a true star hockey player. She sends out notices all around the world and waits until one day there is a really bad storm and a knock on her door. Who could it be?

In Peter Pan this week Peter finds out the Hook has Wendy and the boys from Tinker bell. Now he needs to find a way to get to the pirate ship and save them. How can he do it without getting caught or seen?
